Framed
This postcard series explores how social media visually frames the human body and reinforces normative perceptions of identity. Inspired by the simplified body forms featured in the publication, each card features a geometric silhouette that is hollowed out, creating a physical window for viewers to look through.
By inviting the audience to observe their surroundings or even their own or others' bodies through these predetermined shapes, the postcards become tools of critical reflection. They prompt questions such as: How does framing alter perception? Do visual boundaries imposed by social platforms lead us to see others and ourselves through standardized, restrictive lenses?
